Create real shadow effect

This tutorial will teach you how to create a real looking shadow effect when drop shadow gives you not the right result.

Tool:	Photoshop CS2

Step 1.
Create a new document with a size you want. In this tutorial I use a 300x300 image.

Step 2.
Import the graphics to which you want to add the shadow effect.

Step 3.
Create a new layer.

Step 4.
Select Magic Wand Tool and set its preferences as below.

Step 5.
Click on a white area and than Inverse the selection.
